I went out to "coffee" (I had diet coke) with a friend this morning. When I got up to use the restroom, I was all dizzy and shaky. I've had readings as low as 59 before and felt just fine so I know that it had to be under that. I had a mint and about a half a glass of regular coke to bring it back up, but it was really scary. It's never happened to me before. I've heard people talk about it but I'd never experienced it myself. I called my endocrinologist to see about backing off the metformin a little bit. I've lost about 30 pounds now and I think this dose is just too much for my body.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
