I have heard from several diff women that they have been put on metformin to help with infertility issues, now my doc had never told me that taking metformin could make you more fertile and to be honest I was using birthcontrol with my last 2 pregnancies, my last pregnancy I was on metformin for about 6 weeks and became pregnant, and with this pregnancy I was only on it for a little under a month. Not that I'm upset that I am pregnant we wanted more children, I just wondered if there is truth to this, wouldn't you think that if your especially in your child-bearing years they would tell you that the medication could make you more fertile? I'm sure I sound like a juvenille asking this but I've heard of so many women taking it specifically for infertility
