Hi I have Hashimoto's Thyroid disease, and i thought that was the end of it, but i still have some symptoms that bother me.
* Dry mouth(must have water with me all the time
* constant thirst/ dehydrated feeling
*pee a lot, especially during night when trying to sleep
* fatigue , blurry eyes (of course, i have allergies too, but still)
* don't sweat much, and other things ( down below) is dry too!
* i get a rash every 4 ish months, on my ankles, comes, itches like crazy, crusts over, slowly goes away within a week or so..
any idea if this could be diabetes? I am worried because i know that people with Hashi's are more likely to get it! I"m only 110 lbs, eat as healthy as i can, and although i don't exercise due to fatigue and possible fibromyalgia, I'm only 24 years old. Any ideas?
Thanks

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

my doctors do say the two tend to go hand in hand and sometimes the symptoms can be hard to decide.....go to the doctors have them test at least your A1C for the diabetes, and have them check for your TSH, FT4, TT3 and see if they are out of wack.
you should try to add some exercises, even if walking, or starting with stretches etc to help you, and once you get use to doing this it can help the fatigue....tho with my GD, I can go like the energizer bunny since my body is so hyper and then suddenly be sound asleep in the evening lol..
