Went to see a new doctor today. My cholesterol and blood pressure have been very good. He said that it is a regular course of action for someone with diabetes to take medication for high cholesterol and blood pressure even though you have neither. I told him I wasn't interested in doing that right now, so I'm supposed to have an A1C in a couple of weeks and he wants to test my cholesterol again (I was just checked in January) and said we'd talk more about it. I was nervous today and my blood pressure was a little higher than it usually is, 122 over 72 which is still just great. Do the rest of you take these meds?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
