good news guys, last week I posted that my A1c came back at 7.5... higher then it could be but lower then I expected so woohoo... I forgot to tell y'all my Doc reduced my metformin by half. I was on 2 tabs of 500mgs xce a day. I now take 1 tab xce a day. He also dc'd my glyburide and put me on Gliclazide. We shall see how all this goes. Where theres life there's hope eh... MZ.K

That's great news to hear! I take a drug called Janumet. It's a combination of metformin and sitagliptin and it's been great for me.
