Hi, new to the site and newly diagnosed diabetic. I'm trying and trying to find some sort of guidelines as to how many grams of sugars and carbs I can have in a day. I thought I was doing everything right, but my numbers average in the 150's. How bad is that? My life is a mess right now, with very limited income and no medical insurance. Any suggestions? I'm doing well dieting and have lost about 25 pounds since being diagnose abouut 3 months ago. I'm on metomorphin, taking 2 pills a day. I would really appreciate some guidelines. Thanks!

So my daughter, who will be 30 in a few months, says she thinks she has varicose veins, as she can't figure out what else it could be. Only in one leg, and is so bad it is hard to sleep at night.
