Hi everybody - i havent been on here in a while, but just to update you, I got gestational diabetes in my 3rd trimester & Ive been told that it's a direct result of PCOS. Now I've delivered and just went for my 6 week check up & the dr told me I probably still have diabetes, but I cant get ana1c now because I'm breastfeeding?? She also told me I'd probably have to be on metformin all the time now, but I cant do anything until Im done breastfeeding. In the meantime, what do I do?? Act like I have diabetes, or not? I feel totally left out because my OB i done with me since I've delivered, so where do I go from here??
