Hello everyone! Just been reading some of the topics and am glad I came across this site. I'm 55 and been a type 2 longer than I can remember. My doctor considers me very brittle when it comes to my sugar. Due to my ignorant eating habits my numbers can easily reach 400. I'm about 25 pounds overweight and have begun a walking regime with my daughter and son-in-law. Walking through the city park, approx. 1 1/4 miles. do 1 lap three days a week and prayerfully will get up to 3 laps before long. Most of my weight gain is my mid section. I'm an electrician at a hydropower plant,(electro52) so I stay on my feet a lot which I believe has helped. My main problem is eating. Just looking for moral support and I believe I've found it. Main problem is not knowing when to stop and sweets! Have ya noticed that wherever you go, gas station, supermarket even clothing stores have a lot in common. Candy bars ay the cash register! AAEEEIII !! So, thank you-all for being here and finding the support I've been looking for. God bless you-all!
