I am so frustrated right now, I have been a diabetic since I was 18 (I am now 42), but lately my damn sugars are so high, I follow the chart that my doctor gave me it tells me how much humulog insulin to give myself depending on where my sugars are and nothing!!!!!! I am so mad right now, I do have a question, this is for the women with diabetes, do your sugar levels go up when you are premenstrual? I've only come across one other woman (I read it in a diabetic magazine) that has experienced this, and I've been keeping track every month and every month a week or two before I am due for my period my sugars run high. I am still thinking about the pump, but I'm not sure I want to be hooked up to something all day even though I've heard only good things about it, also I don't want the pump showing through my blouse. Why is this happening? I am due to see my doctor next month and I will talk to him about it and also maybe get some literature about the pump. It's very frustrating when you are trying but nothing seems to work. Any advice? Thanks

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
