hi my name is trish i just joined this comm. i do not have diabetes however i do work in a nursing home as a med tech so i deal with a lot of diabetics. i give a lot of insulin and diabetic meds. i just wanted to say that in ref to the post on blood sugars. i am no expert by no means, however by working with them i do know this. every single person is different. granted there is a normal range there has to be. however every sing human body is different whats normal for one may not be the same normal for another. so you should not feel threathened by telling blood sugars to family or friends. certainly they would be mature enough to realize this.
