Hi everyone. My 12 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 almost 6 years ago. I have been battling depression ever since. Even though my son is happy, well adjusted, and plays on two baseball teams his diabetes is not in good control. He is on the insulin pump but we are still working with his endo. since he gets extreme BG highs and his A1C is terrible. How do others deal with this disease that is ever present? I have tried therapy and am also on antidepressants. Thanks for your help.
