you know what sometimes works for me when i'm really depressed. If it's winter i'll go for a brief walk with a light jacket on. I get so freezing it sort of takes my mind off my depression and I have a clearer slate when I get back to do something sort of positive. It doesnt always work but it's one of those non-meds things ive learned over the years. It helps w anxiety attacks too

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. snow is good, ice is baaaad. totalled my car on the ice too and then got rear ended in the rental - ice is for cocktails if you ask me!
