This film is full of a lot of information that we hear in bits and pieces in our daily news...
The number of uninsured Americans
The ongoing battle between insured and HMO's
The dumping of indigent patients onto city streets
The abandonment of our nation's heroes
Put all together, this film reveals the connection between our poor state of being and our nation's lack of vision...or emphasis of corporate profits over the good of human beings.
It is horrifying and disgusting.
WHY are our citizens so complacent and even complicit in our own destruction. If I could plead for anything from you, it would be to become INFORMED before you vote, and remain active in demanding things from the government that is supposed to serve US. DO NOT allow yourselves to be persuaded to vote a certain way over a single hot button issue. That is how the bad guys get you to sell yourselves out.
Everyone should watch this film. Everyone should pay attention to it. Everyone should get good and mad. And then everyone should get up and do something about it. It might just be enough to fire up a lot of depressed people who are living the way they are, largely because we have allowed our government to use us, rather than demanding that it serve us.
If you have access to pay-per-view, Sicko is available right now. Lay down your political biases (that is how the government likes us...divided)and watch this film. Whether or not it has "an agenda" it presents indisputable evidence to support its position.
PLEASE view this movie.

I have not seen the movie, but your points are very valid. What choices do we have other than to vote or begin a major revolution which citizens will probably not go for. Interesting. I will check it out.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
