So I have a friend who had a specific plan to committ suicide. Seems to be living right on the edge and is out of control. Tried absolutely everything to help but the person refused to go to the hospital. I don't know them by name or where they live due to the anonymity of this forum. I have seen multiple people who ended up committing suicide on this website. So what do you do when they talk to you, but still have intentions to harm themselves? It feels heartless to just say "oh well" and forget about it even though I am pretty powerless. I suggested a crisis line, calling 911, calling a friend or relatvie, talking to me even (reminding them of the value or their lives and that there is always hope.)
