Me & StarKid are so proud of our 14 year old nephew! A couple of years ago (I can't remember exactly how many) Jason entered a poetry competition about enviromental issues. He wrote a short poem called "Cut No Living Plant" Well earlier this week my sister rang me in a very excited mood. Jason's poem is being published in a book! I have pre-ordered a first copy of it & am waiting to hear when exactly it will be published. I was so over-whelmed by the news my brain didn't quite take in the name of the book but I believe it is called something like "Discovering The World: Yorkshire" Jason's poem was chosen along with 69 other childrens poems from 10,000 entrants. It really made me smile & when I told the local shop keeper they asked to see it when it's published & told me to tell him well done from her!
