I wish more people would see that there is a difference between seeking support and seeking attention.
When you intentionally make threats to harm yourself and/or others for the attention of others just to find some kind of acceptance, you SERIOUSLY need to look inside YOURSELF and find acceptance for YOURSELF. You need to learn to LOVE yourself. You need to learn how to RESPECT yourself. You need to learn how to BELIEVE in yourself. When you go about flaunting your problems like a prom dress, you're making it seem a statement, not an actual problem anymore. When you do things like this, you're asking for attention. Attention can come from anyone.
When you ask for support, you're asking for a shoulder to cry on, a friend, good advice, a prayer, and a helping hand. Support can only come from those who really care.

very true... but sometimes when someone is doing something like that to get attention, they may actually be crying out for help. they want the support, but perhaps are in such a low place they no longer know how to ask for it.

Agreed. It may be a very desperate cry. Still, people should be aware of different ways to ask for help. The more healthy ways you know how to ask, the better the support and advice you can receive from others.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
