Depressive and Anxiety Disorder Support Group
If you suffer from a depressive or anxiety disorder, you may feel alone in your struggles.
The Foundation 2 Depressive and Anxiety Disorder Support Group offers a caring and safe place to talk with others who understand what you're going through.
The emphasis of the group is developing positive coping skills, giving mutual support, and learning to manage stress.
When Does The Group Meet?
The group meets every Monday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Where Do The Meetings Take Place?
Meetings are held at the Foundation 2 Crisis Center, 1540 2nd Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids.
What Is The Fee For The Support Group?
There is a charge for an intake meeting required before joining the group. The fee is on a sliding scale, based on what you can afford. There are no fees to attend the group. Free-will donations are accepted.
Who Leads The Group?
As much as possible, we count on group members to provide leadership. However, no one is required to participate at a level that makes them feel uncomfortable.
Group facilitators will always be at the meetings to offer guidance and support.
