It's horrible. I started back on it on Saturday, and since then I've felt sick constantly, not been able to eat because of my constant feeling of nausea, had headaches, and for the first few days I was an emotional wreck anyway! This was the point where I gave up the fight last time and refused to take them, and that's the last thing I want to do now.
Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome the starter side-effects? And how long will they last?

wish i did... they say give it 7-10 days, if you're still feeling this bad, maybe you need a different med. i barely made it 7 days on lexapro, switched to cymbalta, much better. until then, gingerale & crackers? best of luck..feel better soon.

I don't know. Did the doctor start you on a low dosage? I started out low dosage, and the first five days or so, about 2 hours after I took the pills, I'd get very spacey and tired. After that first 5 days, the side-effects went away and my doctor has slowly increased the dosage twice, no side-effects at all. The Prozac did help me a lot, so try and hang in there.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
