Good morning all! I have been out of work some time now. I got a call yesterday about employment and I have an interview on Friday. A very special person gave me her secret tips on how to survive at the workplace and I would like to hear yours. I deal with alot of irritation, ect. On one hand I am really excited and on the other VERY nervous that I will have to quit or even better get fired. When you dont feel well and having anxiety...how do you make it in the door of work?

I have been here before, a long long time ago and now I am back.Forgive me for not just saying what I want to say, even under a triple dose of antidepressants it is still raw and seeping and I am hesitant at revealing it as at least under the bandages around my heart I don,t have to look at how raw and wounded. My child was cleaved from my heart by his own actions. my child of ten, turning eleven...

"NO!"
"YES!"
"NO!"
"YES"
"WHY!"
"You need money"
"I'll live off the land"
"You wouldn't be arsed."
"I could try..."
"...we're going."
"we're fucking not."
"We're fucking there..."
"Oh...suggestions?"

CHAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGE!!!
It is nice to have items of comfort around if you are feeling anxious.
Jules, you'll be fine 'cause you're a smart lady and it's NORMAL to be nervous about a new job...and others know 'cause they've been there too!
I know that I have to be on my Zoloft to even work a job, otherwise I will skip work or have anxiety attacks and walk out. I really hate that I am that way, because I need to pay some bills!!!
I wish I knew of a lot of people that constantly quit jobs due to emotional problems...I always see all of these people around me who have been holding their jobs for years...they never have any emotional issues, they are just like robots.
Maybe someday I will be a robot like them. :)
You will have to let us know how the interview goes...keeping you in my thoughts!!!
