Beaten, broken down, felt small and weak. May not love me but you're going to respect me. Just a shell of a person.Powerless. Remember the day that all began to change
Remember standing up against the white washing machine, remember the kitchen, remember the pale yellow wall. You standing up to me boy? If you can talk to me like a man, you can fight like a man. Remember physically shaking with fear. Sweaty, legs like rubber. Even if I would have wanted to I couldn't run. Remember, how massive his arms and fist seemed. Mouth dry, feeling the rage that is making my body tremble. I know what's coming, but I don't care. Tired of being a victim. Standing over me now. Breath hot like fire on my skin. Yes I am. Before I can finsh those words, my mouth and nose are bloody. Tears and blood all over my face.
I remember the pain, hearing by bones crack, Remember the tears. Remeber being on the floor. I stood back up and looked him square in the eyes, expecting the next hit, he didn't know it didn't matter. I remember he walked away. I remember feeling I had gotten some strength back. I had won. I stood up.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
