I have come to this new paradigm. If you have been suffering from lifelong depression, the best thing to do sometimes is say FUC% IT! and do something to make you laugh. There will always be sadness in our lives, how much is up to us. I think it all boils down to a choice. I am not a religious person but I do believe in God. A year in a war zone will help with that. I have come to believe that those of us that suffer, are meant for great things. Evil does not like goodness. So evil feeds our depression. It is all a choice really, fight, or not. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is that its okay to not fight sometimes, just don't let your head start spinning, stay distracted and allow yourself to have a shitty day.
