I dont know how I've made it through this week. I went to the docs on Monday and he gave me some pills that should help me sleep. Since then I've hardly slept at all. The pills seem to have made things worse. Last night i didn't take them but I still didn't sleep. Its weird because I cant keep awake in the evening. Watching TV i'm dropping off all the time but as soon as I go to bed my mind starts buzzing. I cant shut down. Tonight I'm going to have a bottle of vodka to make sure I get a decent night sleep. Dont know if I should percivere with the meds. I'm worried This will eventualy start effecting my health.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
1. Have a cup of warm milk or un-caffinated tea.
2. Make your bed.
3. Now UN-make your bed to get in and get cozy.
4. Find a comfortable position and picture a sunset until you fall asleep.
Usually works for me when it's time for me to catch up on Zz's. :) When you picture settings in your head, it's a form of meditation that can help you tune out everything else that may possibly cause stress to keep you awake.
Just a caution, you really shouldn't mix alcohol and sleeping pills. The results can be deadly. I don't mean to sound like a nag or anything, but I'm worried about your health! I'm with rubyblue, talk to your doc about more effective meds! Try to have a good night!
