hi, i am new to this group-i have been suffering from depression for many years-mostly all of my life. i have been in and out of therapy as well as in and out of hospitals, i am really trying to cope with this and get better, but i am so frustrated, i am currently in therapy weekly and go to a group-they keep telling me i need to focus on myself and start doing something that makes me happy for me, WHAT?! i have no idea what to do, i can do things for others but to turn that attention to myself is and has always been difficult for me. any suggestions?
