Has anyone ever encountered their therapist refusing to give you your mental health diagnosis? I have had my last counselor do that to me and now my present counselor. What are they hiding from me? I realize the diagnosis isn't the most important part of therapy. More the symptoms and how to handle them. My counselor even explained that but I know I have a right to my file and my diagnosis. They have to give one for billing purposes. I'm frustrated beyond belief!
