Do you think you need to be proactive in your treatment for depression, to do things like exercise, cognitive behaviour therapy, meds of course, to get better quicker?

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
Exercise, positive thinking, laughter with friends, taking your meds etc etc
I:
take meds (paxil, remeron, klonopin)
go to therapy
take Vitamin B & Omega 3
exercise
light therapy
stay current on depression literature/treatments
cognitive behavior
and I'm still depressed but able to function pretty well & go about my business.
