I was reading several articles yesterday on the state of "I don't care". The phrase is considered to be a good indication in most cases of depression -- including when children say it.
As an example, I don't care enough right now to quit smoking regardless of the health or financial benefits of quitting. (I don't care.)
What are you not caring about these days?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
feeling sick all the time
Not eating
Not life!
Not kids!
Not grandkids!
Not nothing!!!!!!!
There's no "pay off" as the great Dr.Phil would say so I don't worry about it and I take my meds and do whatever I need to do to help me get through the day.
GRADES!
I still to this day say I don't care, when I am down and have completely reached my limit on what I can handle.
