Hi
I have just started taking prozac. 20 mg once a day. I have been taking now for ten days. the main problem I am experiencing is fatigue. I am finding it hard to do the most simple things that I was ok with before.
I'm not feeling any better yet but I know it takes longer. I just wondered if anyone has had the same experience and how long did it last?
thanks

yeah that can be a big drawback. They made me like that too which is a large part of why i stopped. However I wouldn't recommend that since i'm back to square one and back on 40mg now instead of 20mg. If the problem persists you can ask for a change of meds don't do the stupid thing like me. Sometimes this is temporary for a lot of people too. Give them a month or so then go back if nothing changes x

Yeah, when I first started taking it I was so tired. I would say it lasted 2 weeks 3 at the most for me.

It seems like all of them have different side effects. I am on Cymbalta now, God only knows what side effect it will have but Im sure it will put 30 lbs on me with my luck.. lol.. good luck

Yeah im always feeling tired then the doctor doubled it so im on 40mg now coz the 20mg wasnt helping but im not sure the 40mg is much better. just too tired to care now

The fatigue will go away. Don't stop taking your med. It takes a while, but the benefits are worth it. You probably can't tell if you're getting better yet, but you will. Keep taking it, and if you don't feel better within another couple weeks, tell your doctor. There are other meds you can try. Good luck.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
