A few of my thoughts and opinions; which are not intended in any way as meaning to impose my thoughts or opinions on anyone, control the board, (I really wouldn't want that responsability, trust me) etc.
One of the wonderful things about America is that we have freedom of speech. Think about that. In some countries, you can be killed by the authorities for speaking your mind. So, post what you want to post. Subject limitations? NONE. This is supposed to be a free forum for discussion. So be it. If what you post offends someone, well ok. Just as in real life, it happens. We're all (except for the minors on this site; carefull with "colorful language" :O)) adults here, we can sort out misunderstandings, hurt feelings, etc. without name calling, public attacks, and bashing. In my opinion the best route for that is the personal message. Suggested; use hugs most generously as well. We have the tools, let's use them. My thoughts are, that if each person respects each of the other members here, and does not publicly attack someone else, we'll end up with a safe and sane environment in which each of us feels safe and comfortable to help and be helped. There are ground rules, which are not mine. Read your terms of service agreement. Those are the ground rules.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I am also guilty of jumping into the fray when a friend was slighted, but I'm learning. The last time around, I just reported and then posted a comment in the thread saying that I felt the author was being abusive. I felt bad for the victim because I had been the subject of a bashing post myself once and I appreciated the people that came to my aid. I still caught some nasty PM's this time, but nothing like when I actually argued on behalf of my friend.
It seemed to work better that way but I might go one further and just not even post next time. DS is responding a lot quicker to abuse reports that they did in the past.
