Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I know it is hard.....

I took my dog out in the field at the back of our house. He chased his football for a good 20 plus minutes and was hot. We entered through the back garden as usual, I closed the gate, turned around and found my dog standing with his front feet in a compost bin lid full of water! Not content with this, he then climbed into the lid, curled round and lay down in the water! He left his tail out and that was wagging happily, when he climbed out he then rolled in the newly dug dirt just to complete the look!
He by the way is a black Labrador and not exactly small in size - he now has to have a bath because he stinks of stagnant water - bloody animal! Hope that cheers you up - if not let me know and I can tell you all of the stories I have of embarrassing things that have happened to me. Big hugs, Viv XXXXX
...when I was a childminder we used to sing "Do your ears hang low" ...if you dont know it I can put the words on another post ...anyway the funny bit is that I used to put a pair of tights on my head and swing the legs about as we sang the song - v. silly - I'm glad nobody's got the evidence on film...another one which came up in a discussion the other day is funniest films - try putting a comedy video or dvd on...that might help ...probably do it myself later. Gotta go do my relaxation CD now. Love M xxx
That should make ya laugh....
I'll go see if I can track it down and bump it up.
