Hi all, I know that there are quite a few of you that have pets here on ds, but just wanted to let those of you that dont know how wonderful owning a companion pet can be! Theres nothing quite like the bond that a pet such as a kitten or dog can have with you...they always are there to greet you when youve had a hard day at work, and lay with you when your not feeling well, and make you smile by their silliness in their play. They love you unconditionally, no matter what is going on in your life, they will always be there, and will never gossip about you behind your back when you share things with them! I would highly recomend that anyone who is able should look into adopting a pet, through a local shelter especially! There are lots of dogs and cats, and kittens who would pounce on having the chance to meet you! I think that pet therapy should be added to the list of treatments as its one of the most powerful medicines you can recieve...their unconditional love!
