My older sister sent me a text asking if she could tell my younger sister about a breakdown I had last Dec. i ended up in a mental ward for five long, horrible days. Not my proudest moment, to say the least. it's been almost two yrs ago since I spoke with my younger sister. She was such a trigger for me I had to stop communication with her and this really made her mad because she called members of our family she hasn't talked to in over 20-30 yrs. and told them some stupid stuff about me and some very personal stuff, too. She really got to me with that stunt. We only talked on the phone since she lives in a different state. She would call me multiple times a day, she would stalk me on Facebook, or at least it felt that way. My phone would either beep with a text every morning or she would call and wake me up. We would fight about the past constantly, and our mom, and our dad. She said some very hurtful things involving my daughter. She would apologize and then turn around and do it again. I guess she was just bored.
Anyway, back to my older sister sending me the text asking if she could tell my younger sister about my breakdown. It all seems kind of stupid, I know. But being me I sent a text back to her saying yes she could. I also told her how easy it would be to judge me. I tried to make light of it, I just wanted to please my older sister, I suppose. But I thought to hard about it. I sent her another text asking her if she knew how weird that question was to me? Who asks if they can discuss you behind your back? Especially with someone who I haven't spoke with for so long.
Seriously, I have nothing to hide, my life has usually been an open book. I almost slipped into a state of depression after that text.
What do you think?
I have been diagnosed BPD, PTSD, Newly Diagnosed DID and Bipolar. I am not sure what is what having all the letters of the alphabet in my diagnosis. What should I expect and any tips I should be given to help? I have downloaded a few books on tape. Bipolar seems to run in the family. Thank you!
I have noticed since being laid off a month ago due to the COVID pandemic that because I am not moving as much nor am I as busy as I usually am that my overall chronic pain has worsened. I take three walks a day with my dog and keep up on housework but as long as everything is closed, I find myself more inactive which in my case increases my pain levels. I drink more turmeric tea at night,...
