I sent this to the radio station this morning...
I would like to nominate XXXXXX for good guy of the day.
XXX is my husband. He works 2 full time jobs and is on call all the time, sometimes he even carries two on call phones.
So yesterday I came home and found a little bird stuck under our porch, behind a screen he had put up to keep the garbage out.
I couldnt get it out. I was afraid it would have a heart attack, it kept bouncing off of the screen. And what a terrible way to die, freeze and starve. What to do? So I called XXX knowing he would be busy with work. He calls me back in a good mood (as usual) even thought he is super busy. No questions asked, he says Okay, where is it. Ill be right there he shows up with his drill ready to take the porch apart to let the little guy out
Of course once I left the bird alone it found its own way out
He asks for a flash light and goes to look for a little bird body no body found
I completely wasted his time.
He laughs, cracks a Darwin joke and takes off back to work.
I love that man!
I bitch here all the time just thought I would share so Positivity!!! Happy hump day all

I feel like you're talking about my husband, he's a cop, works 12 hour shifts in New Orleans (crime capital) and is a wonderful father to our little boy. So even if he's been working all day and he's tired, if he knows I'm feeling down, he'll take the baby, let me go chill out and get some alone time, and he won't complain about it. I feel pretty lucky. God knows I've put him through some hell before, I'm suprised he's stuck around :)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
