Please don't judge me. I am pregnant. I recently went to the doctor, and I am a smoker. My Doc DOES NOT want me to quit smoking cold turkey, as it is harmful because the "baby" is addicted to the nicotine. He told me to gradually cut back. The problem is, I am having a very hard time doing that. I can't do the Patch or the Nicotene gum as he feels those options are not the best for a pregnant woman. I really need help and ideas from anyone who can help me. Pregnant or not. Please don't bash me, I am trying to do the right thing for me and the baby. Also. I used to be a pack a day smoker, but as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I went to smoking less than 10 a day, and sometimes even as low as 5. Please anyone help me.
