I just read the post about obesity and it got me to thinking. I wonder how prevalent obesity occurs with those with depression. I can see how it would since one might find comfort in food when they think they are unlovable etc. So much of eating seems to be tied to our emotions. We eat when we are bored, sad, etc. So, I wonder if as we are more depressed do we eat more because we dont care about ourselves and trying to find something to fill the void we feel; inside. Thoughts?
