I get a lot of guilt fuelled anxiety which often stops me living my life, and if I try to live, I end up feeling pretty bad about it. I mainly feel guilt towards people who I really love and adore because I am worried that they might not approve of how I live my life, and I might hurt them in the process of living.
I just need to talk about this, as I have only been realising it recently. I know I am not a bad person and I love my family and my partner entirely with all my heart. It brings me down so much, I really want to find a way of overcoming it even a little.

I read somewhere you should do things that matter to you and if neccessary say I'm sorry you feel that way which just misses and apology and do it anyway, lol
Just love your partner and try to be as good a person as you can and please do not fret over the others. They will come around or they wont.
You living your life they way you need to in order to feel happy and fulfilled is not, in reality, costing THEM anything.
You don't have to pay any kind of penance to try and make it okay in their eyes.
