My son is very depressed and i am very worried about him. He will not take his meds and now I think he might be taking valume and drinking on top of that. I really feel he needs help and I was thinking about going over there with his dad and talking to him and suggesting he need to find help. What do you think? How do you think he will react? He asked for help about 6 months ago and I took him to see a dr. then he didn't stay on his meds and wouldn't go back. What can I do?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I would start by telling him how much I love him, and ask
how I can help him. SUch as:
Is there anything I can do to help you right now? Is there anything that would make you feel better? Will
you call me if you need anything? Etc.
I hope this helps in addition to the other replys.
Peace
I agree with everyone else
forcing someone to do something that they are not willing or ready to do can even make things worse.
You can always extend the offer of help and wait until he is ready to accept it.
