I figure I must have been a real turd in my last life...
Not only do I have these mental issues to contend with, my whole life is an unmitigated disaster (which isn't to say things couldn't get worse...I will say I am grateful nothing catastrophic has occurred...) I have super-crap credit, monstrous debt (mostly student loans) that I can't begin to pay, I am unmarried, unemployed, I live with my parents and I am 39 years old, my daughter is a teenager who I have no means to send to college...or even send to the movies for that matter (The words.."nope, can't do it" are the soundtrack of our existence here...which sucks because I have a really great kid), I have no savings, no investments, no retirement, no safety net...and my parents are depressed and struggling too...
But, thank God I have my health--well, you know, besides the brain business...lol...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Soon you just might find they are interested in knowing more about you and who knows you might find someone who can advise you on how to find a better job.
Start to teach your daughter how to stand on her own two feet and realize that if she doesn't do it herself no one else will do it for her. With this mentality she can get more education, even if it's a local Community College, perhaps with scholarship funds. Once she is finding success in her life, emotional and personal, you just might find you really are worth something too. You are a good mom and with that you can offer a better hope to your parents who have opened their home back up to you and your daughter.
Find a Dr who will help you find a medication that relieves your sadness and helps you find hope for the future. Force yourself to stop dwelling on the past and all it's disappointments. You can't change any of that but you can make a brighter future available by simply using your own mind set to do so.
Lastly, if you have not started, find a good church to give you what you need in your inner life. God can bring you new freinds and many reasons to give to others in activites. Serving others can never be a negative if you do it with a willing heart.
