tonight i came in from work and barbara walters was interviewing patrick swayze. as most know he has pancreatic cancer. he has already out lived most that have this form of the disease. my heart was so encouraged as i listened to the positiveness of his words. feeling the love flowing from him with each sentence. of course we all think of him in the movie " dirty dancing". this movie was filmed on location about 100 miles from my home. who in this world could ever forget the dancing in that movie and the one liner i shall always love, as he said " nobody puts baby in the corner"..........then of course in the interview tonight a clip from " Ghost" was shown.. the part as he is leaving to go back to his forever home , he tells the love of his life " molly it's true, you take the love with you" " it's the only thing you take with you"........ " you really do molly, you take the love with you". .tears flowing from her eyes and his. tears of a love and longing that they must be apart for a short while.. as i watched this i was overwhelmed to know that there is true love on this earth. it's rare i know......... maybe its a small piece of a dream to think you could have this kind of love to take with you..... there are many here that do... even those of us that may not have this kind of love as was depicted in this movie, we all have love we can take with us. love for our parents, family and friends. love of our pets. love to me is love...... may we all realize how much this gift of love really means to our lives....

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
