I have been put on a mood stabilizer (geodon) but I am not bipolar nor do I suffer from schizophrenia which is what these meds are made for: although they do effect serotonin levels. I have taken antidepressants before with out a mood stabilizer. But since the doctor put me on geodon I can't get off of it although since I depressed the depressant should work but ever time I try to go off the geodon I have extreme mood swings. I am taking 200mg Zoloft and 100mg Geodon and I'm still depressed. At least I'm out of bed but I want to feel good and happy. Any advice on what has worked for you or friends.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
