My anti-depressant, citalopram/celexa has been reduced from 60mg to 0 in the last 4 days. I am going to start taking 20mg Prozac tomorrow. I can't afford a pdoc and am under the care of a GP who, whilst helpful, has less knowledge than me.
From not sleeping, or sleeping 4 hours a night for the last 3 weeks, I slept 19 hours y'day. I am cold, have a headache, and just feel sick.
I just want to share that if your doc ever recommends you to reduce your meds quickly, tell them to go f**k themselves......

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
hugs and kisses for you.x
I am sorry you are having to go through this. I hope the effects go away soon!!!
Prozac also has few significant side effects, but also tends to wear off its effectiveness over time -- you need more and more of it to get the same results.
Is your Dr. intending to help you get off antid's eventually?
