Ever wonder how much misunderstandings cause problems in relationships? How does that affect the depression a person experiences?
Just a recommendation; Check out the book Mars and Venus by John Gray. He pretty much nails the subject. Most men and women truely have good intentions, and want to please the opposite sex. Men and women think differently, literally. Men use each side of their brain pretty much one side at a time, while women use both sides simultaneously. That is one reason that women are much better at multi-tasking. (I'm jealous of this!!) Females are brought up to be sharing, caring, cooperative. Crying is ok for females from a young age. On the other hand, males are taught that crying, expressing emotion, etc., are things that are not ok. For males, there are strong incentives to follow the restrictive rules. (not wanting to be labled a "fairy", etc.) So during all the developmental years females are practicing all the social skills that make for good and lasting relationships. Men generally don't have that lifelong "social skills training." Many men have an extreemly difficult time in relationships, not because they don't care, but because they don't have the education and skills. There's lots more, check out the book!! What are your thoughts?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I've known many men to be much better at multitasking than I am and many who have been a hell of a lot more considerate and not afraid to cry. good post though
I think men are misunderstood by women for the most part and visa versa. Given up on trying to understand and just accept. Much happier with the men im my life now.
