HELP!!! We have been going through a nightmare due to the fact that the house we rented has mold, asbestos and more violations than I can speak of. Our landlord refused to do anything about the mold when we spoke to him, so in order to protect ourselves and our health we called in the Board of Health. They left here with 4 pages of violations. We agreed to a mutual termination of our lease with the landlord that same day. However, due to financial constraints finding another place to live in less than two weeks has been impossible. Today is the 1st. We left to go and look at some homes and upon our return our water had been shut off (the landlord pays this bill). We are certain that this was just a form of revenge on his part but we still live here and plan to be out by weeks end. What do we do??? It's lucky for us that we pay our own electric bill or he would have cut that off too. By law, he really should have to pay to move us out of this home as he rented to us knowing it had issues. Can someone please advise me as to what action I can take to at least get the water turned back on until we're out of here? I'm living in fear that the next thing he will do is show up and start removing my belongings. HELP ME. PLEASE.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
