A lot of you have to gotten to know me, and I have been called a voice of reason by more than a few members. I'm not mean, I wish well to all, and I try to help others. This post is about supporting Doug and DS. I have worked in a number of management positions in my life. One of the truths of management is that those who are part of the management team are required to act in the best interests of the organization. People who are not part of the management team simply don't have the right to "inside information" that is used to make decisions that affect the welfare of the organization. Period. In fact, it is extreemly unethical and is a gross violation for a management member to disclose confidential information to those who have no right to that information. I have faith that DS management decisions are made in the best interests of the DS community, and are not made carelessly, maliciously, or without merit. Unless you know all the particulars of a situation, it is unfair to stand in judgement of the management team who has made good faith decisions. With all respect, this is my opinion. I personally have been very blessed to have found this site, and I hope you do as well. Please feel free to add your comments, and/or viewpoint(s).

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
