ok so i have this speech problem ,at school the kids use to take the mickey outta me and bully me that was back in the 70's.
now my partners parents have started taking the micky by mimicking me everytime they phone or we see them worse my partner laughs with them i find their behaviour hurtful and upsetting i told my partner how it makes me feel but she just said don't react to them but i've tried this and they still do it.they are comming to stay for a few days in march and i don't think i can take it anymore.

Pardon me for saying so, but your partner is coming across very insensitive, and it pisses me off just reading it. If someone loves you, they should run to your defense, not tell you to ignore it!!!
I think if they are to come and you allow it, the next time they mock you...I don't know, are you able to confront them? If you do, that may nip it in the bud, embarass them.
I'm sorry you're subjected to this kind of foolishness.
