I'm so sick and tired of my job allowing customers to get away with whatever they want. On top of that, I'm tired of my job getting away with whatever it wants.
My job recently announced that all full time workers get a 10% pay cut because they couldn't stay within their budget. On top of that, my boss decided that I won't get paid commissions on any private lessons that I teach... essentially I'm going to either have to break my lease or do without heat and electricity for the next two months.
But then I was having a relatively good day despite all of these financial woes when I got a phone call from a woman who thought the best way to get me to be productive was tell me I'm a stupid bitch and why wasn't I doing exactly what she wanted exactly when she wanted it?
So my big question is... if (God forbid) I was to die in a car accident or something tomorrow, would these people rejoice or be upset?
My answer: I think they'd be upset because they wouldn't have anyone to scapegoat. So sad, no one to blame anymore. But after that, they'd have a party. "Thank God she's not around anymore."
(for the record, I'm not planning to die, it was just a morbid thought that popped into my head and I wanted to comment on it... send my angry thoughts out into the universe where they'll hopefully disperse).

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Believe me there's be another scapegoat waiting in line cause she needs to feed her kids, no one is indispensable.
HOWEVER
There comes a time when one MUST draw boundaries in order to stay sane. How to figure it into your situation is up to you. Time to put your foot down.
1 Mean what you say
2 Say what you mean
3 but don't day it mean
Takes a lot of practice and for me it is a never ending task when dealing with others. Hugs Alexandira
if they died, i'm sure u wouldn't care much (beyond the decent humanity)
we've seemed to have lost the employer/employee loyality that once existed. it's rare these days for anyone to spend a lifetime working for one company, like many of our parents did.
the sad fact is...we've all become not much more than "the bottom line"..replacable and expendable in the workplace.
i'm SO sorry that u've been yet another victim of this...and i hope things improve. xoxo Di
