Come join me to write a letter to a very important person in your life.
"YOURSELF"
OK, I'll start.............
Dear beachside
Please, know that I care and love you very much. My letter to you, beachside, comes from my heart and soul for you to keep and read through out your life. Remember all the love you have for yourself and for others. This is what I want you feel; the important message in life.
Be kind to yourself while you're on this wellness journey. Soak in the love for yourself and others. Relax, breath in and out. Dry your tears and smile; all will be fine in time. Believe in yourself. You will get through the hard times. You have before and you will do it again
You are facing some difficult times in your life, but I have so much faith in you. You are strong and have the strength to get well on this journey.
This letter is the truth. Never let depression lie to you. Read these words to feel encouraged and uplifted. Keep your mind in peace and comfort, your heart filled with love and your soul in high spirits.
I do not have all the answers to all the questions you are seeking; I do know you are learning on this journey. Life is not always predictable but you will get through the difficult times and enjoy the good times. Life goes in cycles, keep a balance throughout the good and hard times.
Just for today, count your blessing and let go of all your worries about the past and future. All will be fine, I love you.
With all my loving heart.......

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Ok, attempt number 2, i knew i would find it hard and i did, got all tearful, i just cant be nice to myself, find it so hard.
Dear Em
Its ok that you cant do this right now, one day you will, that is what matters right now, so stop snivelling and wipe those tears before someone notices!
Ok me, before we begin this daunting task, please put down the jar of fluff. You can do it....Good me. Now, no more fluff for breakfast.
Me, isn't beachside lovely? I wonder if I can take my friends beach photo from our facebook page and use it as my avatar? I like Beach's avatar better then mine. Sign...
Well, believe it or not me, most people don't know that you really do know how wonderful you are.
For you, it's always been about the journey. And John Travolta. He is so darn cute. I'm glad he's happy now.
Me, stop wandering and daydreaming. But he named his plane after his children. So romantical.
Ok Me, back to work. You are lovely, and your life journey has been one of twists and turns and forks in the road and tunnels and bridges and choices.
Your learning to take each path as it is presented to you. Less planning and more living in the moment. I love that. I am so impressed that one year ago you had absolutely no job skills, and now you are terrific with all you do at the hospital.
I do think you will land a decent job fairly soon.
Me, I also think you should have a "Dear Me" column in the local paper, or the hospital newsletter. Something just for fun. Lighthearted and witty.
Note to Me; Follow up on that awesomeness thought.
Sigh. Me, stop daydreaming and smile for real.
It's going to be an amazing day. I know it is, what with all of that fluff your hyped up on.
Love,
Me.
Simply put, keep your head up...It's OK to seek help and let out your emotions...You are human, you are not superman, so quit acting like it...Let go, don't bottle up your feelings...You are a great person and have a bright future ahead of you!
I appreciate reading your letters and I am thankful you have shared your letter with all of us.
Personally, I write alot of letters to myself. Some of them are truly funny, some are forgiveness, some are sorry, some are joyous and some are serious.
Remember to choose happiness 1st and happiness NOW as much as you possibly can and especially when 'down' until it becomes an automatic habit to just be HAPPY! This is the whole and entire key to a life worth living - a happy life!
Love,
your Self :)
