EVERYTIME I VISIT THIS SITE IT'S ALWAYS HAS SOME TYPE OF ARGUEMENT GOING ON. EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION LIKE A BUTT HOLE. BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT HAS TO BE SHOWN. A REAL DEPRESSED PERSON WOULD FIND THIS COMMUNITY DEPRESSING. I HOPE DS DOES MORE ABOUT CLEANING IT UP. NOW THEIRS PEOPLE IN THIS COMMUNITY THAT DO CARE. I JOINED THIS COMMUNITY BECAUSE I HAVE LUPUS. EVER HEARD OF IT. LET ME BRIEF YOU QUICKLY. IT'S A DEADLY DISEASE WITH NO CURE AND IT ATTACKS MY VITAL ORGANS WHEN IT GETS READY. WITHOUT NOTICE. NOW IS THAT NOT SOMETHING TO BE DEPRESSED ABOUT? APPARENTLY SOME PEOPLE JOINED THIS COMMUNITY TO GET INTO OTHER PEOPLE BUSINESS. NOT FOR SUPPORT. AT FIRST WHEN I JOINED THIS COMMUNITY, I THOUGHT IT WAS COOL. BUT THIS IS JUST A GROUP OF ARROGANT ASS PEOPLE. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO FIT THAT DISCRIPTION. YOU WILL BE DEPRESSED ALL YOUR LIFE, BECAUSE YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH YOURSELF.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Unfortunately from what I've seen, people are too hooked on what the latest drama is rather than why they are here in the first place...to get and give support to others.
As for the lupus, I have a friend who has it, it sux! I wish I had some brilliant insight but I don't.
I think there are lots of fabulous, considerate people here. Focus on those ignore the rest.......
Some people have a tendency to become aggressive as a kind of defence mechanism.
Unfortunately (and I admit I have been guilty of this myself) the common reaction to someone behaving aggressively is to lash out in return rather than to sit back and look at what might have caused a person to react in this manner and then ask them.
It's hard to know what triggers a person sometimes but the one thing that gets me is that we all want understanding and empathy do we not? So if that's the case then why (sometimes) are we so cruel to others when this is the very behaviour that we don't want heaped on us ourselves.
maybe ds should establish "the arguement room," and then the depression community could get some relief from petty squabbles. Seriously though, I think the best thing to do is ignore the rif raff, and focus on folks actually seeking help and wanting to help. Maybe the rif raff will get bored and go away. Sorry to hear that you are suffering from lupis, I've heard it can get pretty bad. Take care,
