I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
anybody else???
Make a big helping of taco meat, can make tacos, toss it in Doritos for walking taco's. put it on nachos with cheese, add to lettuce and fixins for taco salad...
chicken alfredo? how do you make that?
You make a white sauce with milk and flour and butter to hold it all together. I didn't even bother cooking it in the oven, but you can if you want to add extra flavor.
Or if you want to do it the easy way, cook 3 or 4 cups (dry)noodles seperately, then drain and add the sauce (do that by melting 2TB butter, add 2TB flour, then milk a little at a time until you have a creamy sauce.) You can also use the juice from the tuna in place of some of the milk if you want more flavor -- otherwise, drain the tuna and add to the noodles and sauce. Then add carrots and peas. If carrots are fresh and not frozen, cook them with the noodles. Then, warm it all up slowly, stirring frequently.
If you want to bake it for more flavor, put it in the oven at 350 for a half hour or 40 min. with shredded cheese and/or bread crumbs on top.
I liked to put parsely and S & P and garlic in it. Served with buttered bread, I liked it pretty well.
Make spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage. After the first meal used the extra sausages for sandwiches, use the leftover sauce to make ministrone.
