so, here's the deal - my soon-to-former wife and i are selling our house.
a few weeks ago we had the in-ground pool covered for the winter. which means a massive amount of chlorine and chemicals.
then, the new buyers wanted us to re-open the pool so it could be inspected.
so we re-opened it. and haven't had it reclosed yet.
about two years ago we had stray cats in our yard. about 40 of them by some counts. we tried tagging them so we could get an accurate number, but they're fast little fuckers.
we fed them daily so naturally they didn't go away.
they would drink from the pool and of course since we were swimming in it the chlorine didn't hurt them.
(when we realized we were spending more on cat food than on people food we decided to stop feeding them. it took about three months before they all moved on.)
anyway - i'm out there earlier and i notice him. or her. a small gray tabby.
lying by the pool.
only not lying by the pool.
dead.
poisoned i imagine by the chlorine.
i killed it. the cat.
there are like 40,000 people on this site with cat avatars. i assume that means they're cat lovers.
i'm hoping some one can forgive me on behalf of the cat.
please - i got enough shit right now, bad karma i need to work off. i don't need this too...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I forgive you, but i don't think this is your fault....
now i can get to the serious business of being down and depressed about the rest of my life...
