it happened while i was driving home from work. i saw the squirrel in the street but instead of slowing down cuz of impatience to get home i kept my speed steady but just kinda swirved to the right a little but it just wasnt enough. plus it didn't help that the squirrel misread the direction i was going in and kinda jumped in front of me. poor little fellow. i heard the deadly thump and i knew it was over. i looked in the mirror hoping maybe it was still alive but it just laid there so i guessed it was dead. come to think of it i had never killed a mammal before in my life. i've killed insects, especially roaches thousands of times and fish a couple of times but thats about it. R.I.P. squirrel. sorry it had to end this way. man and you probably had a family and everything too. i wish i could do something to make this up to them too.
